NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MINIATURE ENTHUSIASTS
There is an organization that is dedicated to miniatures... NAME.
It started in 1972 by Ellegra Mott in Southern California.
The mission of the organization is to share the knowledge of dollhouse miniatures
worldwide and to provide educational opportunities in dollhouse miniatures.

The organization is governed by a Board of Trustees. I am Luci Hanson,
the 2nd Vice President and the owner of Cascade Miniatures.
I am currently seeking the position of 1st Vice President in the 2012 election.
My past history of leadership as owner of an online group for 10 years,
chair of seven very successful online conventions and auctions,
owner of my own successful businesses for over 17 years,
instructor of workshops at shows and online for the past 10 years,
20 collective years in executive management,
head of local Chamber of Commerce and Councilor for ROTC field programs
has been a great background for the office in which I seek.
NAME is gradually experiencing the move into the electronic age
and with it comes some new and exciting possibilities.
An updated interactive website, an updated event registration system,
more activities online for our members, estate planning and distribution of acquisitions,
grants to subsidize costs, better and more efficient communications,
new alliances with other related hobbies and an online version of a NAME Houseparty
that can be attended by so many of our members who are not able to travel.
These are but a few of Luci’s plans for NAME if I am elected
1st Vice President , NAME Board of Trustees.
